Safe Space: We are a diverse & inclusive environment within the coffee community. We want you to feel just as at-home and welcomed in our space as we are. We ask that all of our attendees are respectful to each other regardless of sex, race, religion, gender identity, and etc.
Everyone of our guests is entitled to a learning environment free of discrimination, judgment, bullying, fear or harassment of any kind, and given room to speak freely and feel relaxed. Everyone will be treated with dignity & have their individual needs be met and accommodated. If you are made subject to or witness to discrimination, we ask that you reach out to your instructor according to your comfort level so that we may hear your voice and course-correct the situation.

Code of Conduct: We thrive to create an environment that's conducive to learning. Please be respectful to your instructor, staff members and other participants. To accomplish this, we ask that you act responsibly and courteously within the classroom in a manner that does not disrupt the learning process of others. All class materials are subject to copyright, at Slow Pour Supply we value intellectual property and in no way should class materials be used in a matter in which they are unauthorized.
- Please bring all necessary materials should any be requested for your course.
- Please arrive punctually, with a preference of 15 minutes prior to the start of class, so that we may address any questions or needs prior to the lesson. Classes will not be postponed for late arrivals; and no make-up time will be made available.
- Please allow others space & time for their questions.
- Please be respectful when the instructor is speaking.
- Please use mindful language.
Digital Lessons: Digital lessons are hosted on zoom. Invite links will be sent to the appropriate emails on the order prior to the event. Should your account email differ from the email address you wish to correspond with, please let us know so we may make any appropriate changes for you. Our lessons held virtually share what is applicable of the code of conduct above; And the additional following:
- Please log-in early to troubleshoot any internet/equipment connectivity issues.
- Absolutely no screen-recording or screen-sharing of our online courses is permitted as all materials provided and discussed are proprietary.
- Please follow all Chat Rules displayed upon joining.
- Please “raise your hand”, and await your turn to speak.
- Please keep your microphone muted, except when it is your time to speak.
- Please choose a quiet space to join us in, so not only do you get the most out of the experience, but also so that when you do speak we can properly hear you.
- No aggressive spamming in chat.
- Please use mindful language in both text chat and voice. (No use of obscene language.)
- Please refrain from any shorthand text or internet slang to avoid confusion.
- Do not share unnecessary links, private information of yourself or others, or self-promote.
In an effort to make our learning space as inclusive and diverse as possible:
Under no circumstances will we tolerate the use of any hate-speech, bullying, or harassment of any kind, as per our Safe Space Initiative. Should this policy be breached by one of our participants, they will be removed immediately and without refund; And banned from future participation for the safety and well-being of our community. We ask that should you witness anything of concern that you reach out to us or one of our moderators immediately, thank you.
Accommodations & ADA Compliancy: We will utilize provided resources from Zoom, such as auto-generated closed captions, and we will take into consideration how we can improve visibility with any powerpoint presentations or other visual materials used. In addition, our instructors will utilize clear cameras in adequate lighting, and where possible provide a blurred or neutral background to prevent distracting visuals. At this time all of our classes & educational literature are primarily in English and we do not have translation services available. As we work to improve our online and in person learning experience, please let us know if you have any questions regarding accessibility.
Allergies: Your wellness is very important to us. We would like to be transparent about the potential presence of common food allergens that may be present during classes depending on the subject matter. We would very much like everyone to join us, but please make the safest decision for yourself. Should you have any question regarding potential allergens, please reach out to our team.
Participant Requirements: Be 18 years of age or older. Provide a valid phone number & email for communication purposes.
