April filters are manufactured with high-quality pulp, and specially designed to fit the April Brewer. It sits deeper into the dripper, and allows a faster flow.

The small April filter has a size equivalent to Kalita wave 155, and fits perfectly with our ORIGAMI S size dripper. The Large size is slightly shorter than Kalita 185, fitting perfectly with April Plastic Brewers (size 175)

The SMALL size is recommended with the glass and ceramic brewer, and the LARGE Paper Filters sit slightly higher, and the base is wider for a better fit on the plastic brewer.

However, April brewers are also useable between both sizes. 

April is a coffee roastery, rooted in Copenhagen, home to the Danish Brewers Cup Champion 2019, Barista Champion in 2023, and Swedish Brewers Cup Champion in 2024 and the 2nd place at World Brewers Cup 2019.

The April Hybrid Brewer is a full immersion x hybrid brewer developed by April Copenhagen.

Seeking simplicity in the coffee brewing methodology, Patrik developed the hybrid brewer to find a way to have delicious coffee with a simply yet effective brewing method. Pair with the April Large Wave filters for a simple brew.

The April Brewer merges the best aspects of both immersion and drip brewing techniques. By combining these methods, the brewer offers versatility and a unique brewing experience, allowing users to experiment with different approaches to coffee preparation.

Using a flat bottom brew bed approach as a basis, the brewer is made from selected materials that not only ensure durability but also contribute to a consistent and repeatable brewing process. Its flatbed design is one of the standout features, as it promotes even water distribution over the coffee grounds. This helps achieve consistent extraction, which is key to making the brewer process repeatable.   Highlighting sweetness and clarity, this consistent extraction process makes the brewer well-suited for commercial use.

This beautifully crafted glass carafe in 500ml features a modern silhouette.

With a ultra pointy spout, the April Glass Server features a hollow L shape glass handle, ergonomically designed to minimize wrist strain while pouring a higher volume of coffee.

With a protrude bottom akin to a wine decanter, the April Glass Server homogenizes and aerates the coffee to a solution of perfect temperature. 

Pair this glass server with the plastic April Brewer for a perfect fit.

The 2.0 edition of the April Plastic Brewer. Made of improved plastic Makrolon®, the April plastic brewers keeps the brewing temperature more stable, enabling more consistency in the brewing process.

Features:

The bottom of the April Brewer features three "Filter Holder" wedges that hold your paper filter in place. This elevates the filter and enables a fast drawdown. The result is a perfectly balanced, transparent, and reliable taste experience.

The circular lines along the wall of the brewer allow more air pockets to be formed; enabling more air circulation. This helps brew consistency and enabling a cleaner, more transparent tasting cup.

FDA-approved Polycarbonate, Makrolon® has high thermo stability, enable you to maintain a consistent brewing temperature.

The team at April Coffee Roasters  have invested three years of prototype testing and waited until they achieved the highest cup score using the April Brewer on the world stage at the World Brewers Cup before launching.
