This unique piece incorporates 20% recycled porcelain, made from material discarded during production, reducing waste while maintaining the high-quality standards you expect. The ReWork Dripper features the same familiar shape as the classic ORIGAMI Dripper, but with a more sustainable manufacturing process.
Designed for brewing 1 to 2 cups, the ReWork Dripper is not only an environmentally conscious choice but also a beautifully crafted tool for your daily coffee ritual.
The precision design includes 20 grooves (ribs) inside the dripper, which create a small space between the paper and the dripper wall. This allows the hot water to flow smoothly, promoting consistent brewing and enabling a wide variety of brewing techniques. The unglazed, matte finish highlights the natural texture of the porcelain, giving the dripper a sophisticated, tactile elegance. UFO Ceramic Dripper in Two Colors
Regular price $0.00The team at UFO Dripper aimed at creating the cup profiles they love from conicals brewers. They have found that the 80º interior angle of this brewer design slows down the brew to maintain a respectable contact time even with the air channels, and means that it's less sensitive to smaller doses. This is because the shallower the brewer walls, the less the bed depth changes with varying doses. The angle also contributes to greater accumulation of fines above the bed, further increasing clarity.
UFO is designed to be the most forgiving conical brewer, using an unprecedented 80º interior angle, creating consistency the UFO team is looking for.
UFO incorporates air channels instead of protruding ribs, which combined with the Disputer tool allows for the perfect filter set and consistent bypass. The air channels also contribute to equalizing the air pressure above and below the carafe, mitigating any risk of stalling.

The selection of materials and Sibarist's manufacturing process are focused on achieving the highest possible quality over any other factor, while always respecting process sustainability.
The FAST line is composed of a mixture of abaca fiber from plantations in Ecuador and the Philippines (where the product consumed is replanted every year to then be harvested, offering a sustainable process, with batch control and chain of custody), cellulose fiber from European pine plantations (FSC and PEFC) and organic plant-based (non-fossil) polylactic acid.
The main component, abaca fiber, is finer and more porous than other fibers, giving FAST paper good permeability (leading to a higher extraction speed), while offering great tensile and tearing strength in wet conditions, bringing structure and resistance to the composition, with a low substance (less paper). Additionally, the fibers are pulp made from non-wood fibers. This facilitates clean in-plant processing, essential for eliminating the presence of external flavors in the cup and for offering a high-quality filter, while it can also be processed in a more sustainable way.

Jay voice “We wanted to create a conical dripper that can not only capture clarity and complexity, which are characteristics of a traditional 60-degree wall angle conical dripper but also sweetness and even extraction of a flat bottom dripper, leading to cups with incredible clarity and intensity. Once we achieved that through UFO’s unique 80-degree wall angle, our next mission was to solve the consistency issue of a conical dripper. That’s when we designed our UFO air channels alongside UFO blocks that the filters sit on with enough surface tension to not collapse into the air channels. The result is something truly special, a cup profile that has never existed before. One that combines the best of the flat bottom and the conical geometry. We cannot wait for you all to experience it soon.”
There are two filter paper technologies available for the UFO dripper, find the Jay’s comments:
“B3 flows slower than FAST. We enjoy B3 for fast flowing process impact-heavy (natural/anaerobic natural/carbonic maceration/co-ferment/yeast-inoculated, etc) coffees that require coarser grind sizes and a slower flow rate to provide sufficient contact time to extract all the good things while avoiding over extraction of the mega funky flavours that can often be overwhelming. This can also apply in roast levels. The more developed the roast, the more we will lean towards the B3 and grind even coarser.”

The Booster has three small tabs folded at an angle to aid in seating it inside the conical dripper. Ensure that the tabs are facing downwards. Place the Booster inside the dripper, making sure it sits level and flat, parallel to the dripper's bottom.
Insert a SIBARIST HYBRID filter into the dripper, making sure it covers the Booster completely.

HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT SIZE FOR YOUR ESPRESSO PORTAFILTER?
The SIBARIST ESPRESSO filters have a different diameter than your portafilter. The filter diameter aligns with the inner bottom basket diameter. To determine the correct filter size for your basket, you should measure the inner bottom diameter of your basket using a vernier caliper. This measurement corresponds to the filter size that will be compatible with your basket.
If you don't have the means to measure this diameter, you can use the printable template to find the right filter. Print the template and cut out the circles, then place them inside your portafilter basket. The circle that fits best within the basket (occupying the least space) corresponds to the filter diameter you need. The number in the center of the selected circle indicates the filter diameter in millimeters. Ensure that you print the document at a 1:1 scale (100%) to ensure the template size matches the actual size accurately.

The selection of materials and Sibarist's manufacturing process are focused on achieving the highest possible quality over any other factor, while always respecting process sustainability.
The FAST line is composed of a mixture of abaca fiber from plantations in Ecuador and the Philippines (where the product consumed is replanted every year to then be harvested, offering a sustainable process, with batch control and chain of custody), cellulose fiber from European pine plantations (FSC and PEFC) and organic plant-based (non-fossil) polylactic acid.
The main component, abaca fiber, is finer and more porous than other fibers, giving FAST paper good permeability (leading to a higher extraction speed), while offering great tensile and tearing strength in wet conditions, bringing structure and resistance to the composition, with a low substance (less paper). Additionally, the fibers are pulp made from non-wood fibers. This facilitates clean in-plant processing, essential for eliminating the presence of external flavors in the cup and for offering a high-quality filter, while it can also be processed in a more sustainable way.

The science behind the Graycano Special Edition Filter:
The graycano special edition is a redesigned SIBARIST CONE S FAST Specialty Coffee Filter. Its angle was adjust to fit the internal conical walls of the graycano dripper, which has a different angle as other conical drippers (for instance the V60).
With just a slight angle difference of -2,75o on the filter shape (once folded), the new filter fits perfectly over the graycano Lava Ribs. This prevents unwanted and random filter positioning, like tilted sitting or uneven contact with conical walls.The most common causes of uneven brewing are uneven extractions and inconsistent consistency. This adjustment brings the filter to a perfect fit for high consistency in extraction and flowrate.
Each time when the paper filter sits differently inside the graycano dripper, it disrupts these circulations by either detaining or enhancing air and water flow. Even if no factor was changed intentionally, an extraction recipe can have different results.
Using the special edition filter inside the graycano dripper ensures consistency in coffee extraction. In this way, air and water circulation between the filter and dripper are greatly improved.
This graycano Special Edition filter extracted in a slightly slower drawdown, but with a much smaller variation in time: 3 seconds. The CONE S had a drawdown time difference of 7 seconds
As a result of the wider angle of the regular CONE S, there are more air gaps in certain places depending on where the filter is placed.
The time difference and dispersion might increase under normal brewing conditions and with different pours.

The FLAT is the unique and original non-fluted flat-bottomed filter for coffee drippers, designed and registered by SIBARIST. It offers a unique, smooth and unobstructed area that offers the perfect and even space for brewing with full access to the coffee bed. It eliminates the bypass effect and provides the most even extraction with the maximum coffee particle yield, preventing coffee particles from being trapped in fluted areas.

A COMPLETE FIT - ELIMINATING BYPASS

The FLAT is the unique and original non-fluted flat-bottomed filter for coffee drippers, designed and registered by SIBARIST. Brewing coffee with the April Brewer definitely produced a balanced pour over with added clarity. The coffee tastes great and with so many variations in recipes, brewing and experimenting is fun.
