The 2-WayCup concept revolves around delivering the drink to different parts of your tongue, resulting in diverse drinking experiences. A narrower rim directs the drink to the front and middle of your tongue, yielding sweeter and more intense flavors with a heavier body. Meanwhile, the flared rim directs the drink to the rear of your tongue, spreading it wider, enhancing aroma, floral notes, and prolonging the aftertaste with a silkier body.
How Does It Work?
The design guides how coffee flows.
By directing the liquid to different areas of the tongue, the cup subtly changes how flavors are perceived—without altering the brew itself.
The narrow rim channels the drink toward the front and center of the tongue, emphasizing sweetness, intensity, and a fuller body.
The flared rim opens the flow, spreading the liquid toward the back of the tongue. This enhances aroma, brings forward floral notes, and extends the finish with a lighter, silkier mouthfeel.
